FULL-RUENTHAL SWISS MILITARY MUSEUM, SWITZERLAND

Full-Ruenthal Swiss Military Museum in Switzerland, about 50 km North-West of Zurich is open since 2004 and exhibits a large collection of off-road Swiss and foreign military vehicles, armored or not, but also a lot of defense equipment.
The museum, located in Full, in two buildings of 10,000 m², of which one over 5 floors, in the old industrial area of this town, is located next to the Leibstadt nuclear power plant. It is managed by "Swiss Military and Fortress Museum Association" of Full-Reuenthal. This association manages also since 1989 the Fortress of Ruenthal, 2 km of Full, dating from WWII.

Kettenkrad, Goliat, Schwimwagen Typ 166, SdKfz 251used by Germany during WWII. The Schwimwagen was built at 14 625 units during WWII. It was 4x4 and amphibious, with a flat bottom. The Kettenkrad SdKfz 2 was built by NSU and Stoewer at 8871 units from 1940 to 1948.  Mass 1235 kg, 72 km/h, 36 hp. For steering, front wheel was used but for tight turns, brakes on tracks went into action automatically.
