New implements should be created because of the power and the 2 engines were difficult to control. Today, it is highly sought by collectors due to its unorthodox configuration. Pict Wikipedia.

General Motors articulated AGL-4 prototype was produced about 1965 by GM Defense Research Laboratories, Santa Barbara, California. A 6x6 version has been also built. See chapter : 6x6 articulated vehicles, medium. M G Bekker headed these laboratories from 1963 to1973 to study the Moon Rover. Bekker was the best off-road expert and defender of articulated vehicles in the 60s and 70s. He wrote many books and articles. Meanwhile, nowadays, almost only earth-moving and forestry equipment use an articulated chassis. From youtube : CorvairAGL-4.

Created in the early 60s, Brimont built also Latil forest tractors from 1974 to 1993. Dumper DH 626, BB9 and BB20 were also built. ETR had an empty mass of 5,4 t, a payload of 6 t, RVI engines 124 or 145 hp. Crab run was possible and it was fitted with portal Brimont axles. Brimont was taken over by Legris Potain Poclain PPM, manufacture of mobile cranes in 1989. Bergerat Monnoyeur bought off-road vehicles branch.
