Dyna-Mite Model 6410, 1964, built by Dyna Manufacturing Company, Tucson, Arizona. Capacity 362 kg, speed 3 km/h only. Articulation in roll and yaw is intended to extremely rough terrain. Lizard of Ashot Ashketon Co., Ashkelon, Israël from 1981. Ashot Ashkelon Industries was created in 1967 in Israël. With hydrostatic transmission, 60 km/h, 960 mm ground clearance, payload 600 kg, articulated in roll, Lizard had independent suspension on each wheel. Croco was a little amphibious, articulated in roll, 4x4 vehicle, equipped with Terratires but no suspensions, created by Walter E. Strahm and marketed in 1981 at his Croco Company, Switzerland. They were manufactured in Karslruhe but the Company belonged to TAG (Techniques d'Avant Garde) directed from Ryad by Akram Ojjé, sponsor of William race cars of F1 in 1982. Pict J M M, France.

In 1983, manufacture of the Croco was stopped. 57 vehicles were stocked in containers and it seems Swiss Army and also Saadian Army brought a few tens copies. In the early 90, the stock was bought by M. Richard of MS Transaction, Scy-Chazelles, France, to sell them. Men as J. M. Baggio of Amnéville and J. M. Duchêne, not far from Chartres, had several Croco. Actually, J. P. Latour, Dalhem, Belgium, is now the specialist of Croco. Pict J M M, France. http://www.amphibie.be/

Empty mass : 900 kg, total mass : 1700 kg. Rotary engine, license NSU Wankell, was very small and noisy. Starting was difficult because of underpowered starter, speed was 50 km/h. In August 1998, near Aurillac, France, this Croco was belonging to the author. Since the middle of the 80s, VMB Vesta, near Karlsruhe, marketed the heavily modified Croco named Rhino.
