 Lohr Fardier FL 500, 4x4 built by Lohr Company, Hangenbieten, France, for airborne commando of the French Army. Mass 1100 kg, capacity 480 kg, Suspension was issued by those of Citroën 2 CV with coil springs interconnected front and rear. Engine was 25 and 36 hp Citroën, speed 42 km/h, fording 0,4 m. Differential locking was ensured by 2 trapezoidal belts between front and rear axles. 300 were in service from the end of the 70s to the end of the 90s. Rolba Goblin 4x4 (capacity 410 kg) and 6x6 prototypes load carriers from Rolba Limited, East Grintead, Sussex, UK. Built in 1983, 4x4 was based on the Austrian grass-cutting Rassant Bergtrack for mountains and fitted with 28 hp Citroën engine. Speed 15,5 km/h.  8 vehicles were built after tests at MVEE. Williames Wildcat, 1973, designed by G.A. Geoffrey Williames Design & Construction, Warragul, Victoria, Australia, for agriculture. It was powered by a Sachs-Wankel rotary engine. Super Cat was an improved version. This design remembered the Croco 4x4 but is without articulation. It was manufactured 20 copies in Queenland from 1975 to 1981 and at Melbourne between 1978 and 1986. This one has been donated to the Victoria Museum in 1978.

Varimot NA, 1964, with MWM engine. Historic of models : Adam Rodach presented at German South West Exhibition at Landau in 1949 the vine tractor Varimot 10 hp with Farymann engine. Then it marketed Typ 07 (1955-56), Typ 08 (1957), Typ 08/11 Bull-Loader (1958), Typ 09 (1958), Typ LA (1961), Typ 14 (1962), Typ NI (1966) with MWM engine, typ NI-F (1966), Typ RA (1964), Typ NA (1964) a new tractor built by Lanz Aulendorf Co. of Hermann Lanz, with HELA hydraulic system and MWM engine of 22 hp (then 28 hp). The Terra-Jet was originally manufactured in Drummondville, Quebec, Canada, in 1969. This was a 4x4 ATV without suspensions and differentials with very good off-road capabilities. Diana of MV Motorcycle in Italy in the mid 60's was issued from the German Kraka. Rear engine, 6 seats. Tyres were Straussler Lysoïd. Castor 4x4 built by Société Sinpar from 1965 to the 70's. Petrol engine of 68 hp or diesel of 75 ch. Total weight 3480 kg for 1480 kg payload. This Company, part of Renault from 1980, manufactured many 4x4 conversions for this brand, Saviem and Peugeot.

4x4 Frog of Ladoga Trophy driven by Jez is fitted with suspended portal lateral arms and wheels are chain driven. He won the international Ladoga Trophy in 2006. The rig was built at St Petersburg with Audi engine, front axle fully hydro-steered, high speed winch. The bottom is flat and not constrained by axles.

Willys MB with Firestone Cylindrical Tires was tested during WWII for jungle conditions. It was reported that a winch was more useful than exotic tires and tracks more suited in this environment.
