Hanomag B 11, 1969. Pict J M M at Locomotion en Fête, Melun-Villaroche on 2019 06 22. Hanomag, Hannoversche Maschinenbau AG, founded in 1871 in Hannover, was a mechanical company that manufactured locomotives, passenger cars, commercial vehicles, construction machinery, trucks and agricultural tractors. After many changes, the entrepreneur Horst-Dieter Esch by IBH Holding took control of Hanomag in 1980, which then had to declare bankruptcy in 1984. In 1989, the Komatsu group acquired shares in Hanomag and, since 2002, Komatsu Hanomag GmbH is a wholly owned subsidiary of the company. In September 2016, the name was changed to Komatsu Germany GmbH. The old buildings of Hanomag were taken back, converted or demolished.
Komatsu Germany GmbH manufactures excavators, wheel loaders, dump trucks at Hannover and 4 others spots of Europe. Komatsu Europe International N.V. at Vilvoorde is the European Headquarter of the Komatsu Group. https://www.komatsu.eu/fr/company/komatsu-germany-construction,
