Crawler Crusher was designed by F. Browne Gregg in early 60s towards Leesburg, Florida. Used to crash trees in the future Rodham lake on Ocklawaha river, the project was cancelled in 1971. After serving in US Army, Gregg bought Florida Crushed Stone Company which became Consolidated Minerals, Inc. (CMI), Leesburg, Florida in 1971, marketing concrete, sand and pebble. Burstyn tank, 1911. Gunther Burstyn Austrian-Hungarian born (1879-1945), conceived in 1911 a light tank fitted with mobile arms for better crossing obstacles or tranches. They were to be raised or lowered by the engine with clutches. It was difficult but hydraulic power did not exist. No prototypes were built. This modell scale 1/1 on left was built in 2011 and exposed at Military History Museum in Vienna, Austria. Patent N° 53248 was delivered on April 25, 1912.
