Ural 5920, whose prototype NAMI 0157 has been completed in 1973 and in 1975. UralAZ began tests untill 1985. Mass production (about 100 vehicle by year) lasted from 1985 to 1990. Since 2002 a new diesel engine was used : YMZ-238M2 of 210HP, modern hydraulics, rubber tracks allowed to sell it to pretroleum and forestry works. 8 T payload, 22,5 T total mass, 0,22 kgf/cm2 ground pressure, 30km/h, fuel : 100l/100km, slope 58%, fording depth 1,8 m. Manufacture of ZIL 5920 is now based in Ekateringburg at Continent Special Machines, subsidary of GAZ group.
